The fashion jewellery and hair accessories mecca has finally arrived
Storming into the market with 56 stores to date, Lovisa was born from a desire to fill the void for high quality, fashion forward and directional pieces that are brilliantly affordable.
The Melbourne based Lovisa team work closely with their design office in London, enabling Lovisa to present the most extensive fashion jewellery and hair accessory collection in Australia and New Zealand.
Totally on-trend and super stylish, with a hint of effortless cool, the Lovisa girl gives a fashionable nod to the hottest looks seen on the designer catwalks, editorials and the street.
She makes her own rules and loves to flaunt her personal sense of style. "She constantly wants new looks... wearing the same outfit head to toe twice - she wouldn't dream of it!," says Lovisa Head of Product, Andrea Haynes.
Haynes knows women want to look good 24/7, not just when a new season has landed. And with a background like hers, it's no surprise her finger is so accurately on the pulse.
From early days in visual merchandising for the high street, she quickly moved on to buying and product development. "This is when I realised developing product and building ranges was what I was born to do," says Haynes.
The notches in her belt of experience include buying Miu Miu, Prada, and Marc Jacobs and working with Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choo in China and South East Asia. She returned to home shores for a stint in accessory product development for Seed Femme before the accessory connoisseur was quickly snapped up to launch Lovisa.
For Haynes, it's always been about accessories. "The beauty of jewellery and hair accessories is their ability to add personality to an outfit," says Haynes. "The accessories a woman chooses speak volumes about her personality and attitude - never underestimate what a difference they can make to an outfit".
Haynes' most coveted Lovisa pieces this season? "It's so hard to choose!," she laughs. "But pastel hues, ladylike glamour and 70's glamour with camel and gold will be huge this season. And of course - you can't go past a statement necklace!". Set to have the fastest store expansion ever seen in Australia, it's abundantly clear that Lovisa's chic designs are guaranteed to make fashionistas everywhere weak at the knees. Ranging from $5 to $50, this is bling that won't break the bank.
Be prepared to swoon.
